Orchestration turns the model into running process instances. Each instance follows the configured route and carries its own status, context, decisions, tasks, and history.
Intended orchestration responsibilities
- start a process from an event, request, schedule, or approved action;
- route the instance through steps and gateways;
- call Composers and other SAS building blocks;
- create and complete human tasks;
- wait for external events where required;
- apply SLA timers and escalation;
- record the outcome of each step.
The exact runtime behavior and supported triggers will be documented when the product is released.
