Endpoint Composer
Make SAS data accessible to other systems with controlled access.
What can you do with it?
Another application needs to read or update records. You define the permitted operations and access.
- External request
- Endpoint Composer
- SAS data
How to start
- Choose the object
- Set access and methods
- Test the call

Endpoint Composer is where you publish data that lives in the platform as endpoints other systems can call. You pick an object, decide which operations are allowed on it, decide who may call it, and the endpoint is live. External systems read and write records over that address without needing an account in the platform.
Three things make up most of the work:
- An endpoint publishes one object at one address, with a chosen set of methods.
- A folder groups endpoints and can pass its security profile down to everything inside it.
- A security profile decides who may call the endpoints that use it. API keys are created and managed on the profile.
Everything you publish is listed on a generated documentation page, so the people who have to call your endpoints can see the addresses, the parameters and example payloads without you writing that down yourself.
Use Endpoint Composer when
- an external system must read platform data;
- an external system must create or update records;
- access must be controlled with API keys;
- endpoint methods and key fields must be governed centrally.

Listeners
Listener functionality is part of Endpoint Composer and is available to customers. Use listeners for inbound signals such as webhooks and events. See Listeners — Endpoint Composer. Detailed field-by-field behavior will be expanded as the corresponding technical source is verified.
