Governance is a horizontal layer across the full process cycle. It determines who may design, publish, execute, approve, view, or change a process and how those actions are evidenced.
Intended concerns
- role-based access and separation of responsibilities;
- policy and control context;
- approved exceptions and their expiry;
- audit trail of changes, decisions, and execution;
- data classification and sensitive-data handling;
- evidence for compliance or internal assurance;
- controlled AI access to context and actions.
