This page describes Process Orchestrator product direction. Exact functionality may change before release.

Orchestration turns the model into running process instances. Each instance follows the configured route and carries its own status, context, decisions, tasks, and history.

Intended orchestration responsibilities

  • start a process from an event, request, schedule, or approved action;
  • route the instance through steps and gateways;
  • call Composers and other SAS building blocks;
  • create and complete human tasks;
  • wait for external events where required;
  • apply SLA timers and escalation;
  • record the outcome of each step.

The exact runtime behavior and supported triggers will be documented when the product is released.
